Finding Rest and Balance in the Chaos

Hey there, feeling exhausted too?

You're definitely not alone. It's amusing how we eagerly anticipated adulthood without truly grasping its challenges. I'm sure many adults can relate to that sentiment.

Welcome to this blog post where I share my experiences with exhaustion, and it's quite the rollercoaster!

Lately, life has been a fascinating journey, and it gets a bit crazy when you're juggling numerous responsibilities. From work and health to family, friends, hobbies, and side hustles – it's a delicate balancing act.

I've come to truly rely on my faith, echoing the gratitude my parents expressed when I was younger. Every moment of rest feels like a blessing, saying, "Thank you, Jesus," every time I get a chance to rest. Life's been a whirlwind lately, and finding that balance can be overwhelming.

Matthew 11:28 resonates with me deeply: "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." Turning to God has been my anchor, especially during moments of fear and uncertainty.

Recently, I took the time to write my testimony (my journey to Christ), and it was an emotional experience. I realised how merciful God has been in guiding me. I am grateful to have God by my side, providing the direction I need as a lamb navigating the complexities of life.

Adulting, coupled with the demands of a capitalist economy, often makes our lives revolve around work. However, it's crucial to set aside time for ourselves each day. Whether it's hitting the gym, diving into a good book, napping, taking a leisurely walk, or any other personal activity, creating a life we enjoy is essential.

Life's unpredictability is both amusing and challenging. If you're grappling with stress, grief, emotional turmoil, loneliness, or economic struggles, know that you're not alone. Reach out to someone you trust, and remember there's strength in sharing your burdens.

Most importantly, turn to God for strength. As you talk to Him, you'll find the energy to keep going, running without growing weary. In this journey of adulting, finding rest and balance is not just a luxury – it's a necessity. It becomes more manageable when we intentionally carve out spaces for rejuvenation.

Remember, you're not alone in the ebb and flow of life's challenges. So, as you continue on your path, may you find strength, purpose, and resilience to run the race without growing weary.
