Summer 25 gave "living my life like it's golden".
I recently talked to my friend and mentioned that this year feels a lot like 2022 to me. In 2022, I was more open to new experiences, and that's exactly how Summer 25 was for me. Although I've undergone significant character development (I didn't anticipate having to confront myself so frequently), I'm truly thankful for the deliberate approach I maintained in living each moment intentionally. Summer 25 was packed with quality time, ice cream, music, food, and spontaneous outings — some without photos but many captured, leaving my heart full of memories. Here's my Summer 25 recap Time with friends: For me, quality time is a primary love language, and I always treasure moments spent with loved ones. My friend turned 30, and we truly valued the time celebrating him and the fun we had on this day. It turned into a day of dilly dally, leading us to gather at one of our friends' party rooms to celebrate and, as always, chat.
Another highlight was watching my friends run a 5k and having them over for lunch. It was inspiring to see them run for a great cause. I also thoroughly enjoyed attending various concerts with my friends, from Coldplay to Davido to Anendlessocean.
Solo Adventures: I always enjoy spending time alone. One of my favourite summer activities is attending outdoor cinema events in my neighbourhood, where I watched "Mean Girls" while enjoying dinner. I treated myself to numerous ice cream outings, becoming quite the "ice cream enthusiast." I spent many days alternating between library visits and solo park dates. A standout memory from this summer was taking a Monday off work to visit the beach, where I also did some push-ups. What's a beach day without push-ups?
This year, I also learned to ride a bike, thanks to my friends, and I enjoyed several solo rides. Once, I rode 20 km, and it was a truly interesting day!
Family Time: I had my family visit, and I love traveling with them. It's been a tradition for as long as I can remember, and it was wonderful to spend time with them during the final weeks of summer. We traveled to Niagara, where we saw the falls, enjoyed delicious food and ice cream, and went wine tasting. It was a memorable experience. Besides our trip to Niagara, we also explored my city together. I can't cover everything here, but I truly appreciate the chance to deliberately spend time with myself and my loved ones, engaging in activities we all enjoy.
Forever grateful for the memories created!
